Animal Lifeline Inc., is a small rescue organization, dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of sick and/or injured stray and abandoned dogs and cats. Created by the employees of an animal hospital in Burlington County, NJ, we believe that as animal health care professionals, we not only have the opportunity, but also the responsibility to help animals that shelters might otherwise be forced to euthanize.
Animal Lifeline, Inc. is an animal rescue group, not a shelter. Animals are placed in foster care whenever possible; they're boarded at a veterinary hospital when foster homes are not available, or when illness prevents in-home care.
All animals are examined by veterinarians. Dogs are heart-worm tested, and cats are FIV/FELV tested. They are fully vaccinated, wormed and spayed or neutered (if old enough).
